During the Open Situation on sunday morning, I was reading "Schönberg, Streichquartett II fis-Moll, op. 10" again, then without music and on the forcourt of the gallery. But once again in the way of a political agitator and that fitted well, because the building, the Li Tang, formerly was used as a meeting hall for the village people. The text is about a revolution in music that took place in Europe in the early 20th Century, in 1907-1908. As the text is in german, no one had been able to follow its meaning, but the manner and gestures attracted a lot of attention. And I was wrong. After I brought back the speaker's desk, an old Chinese, a retiered translater, came up to me and told me in an astonishing german, that he didn't got all details, but "...das war sehr gut, fantastisch, ich habe so etwas noch nie erlebt...".
The text was written by Sabine E. Panzer. Thanks to her.
